Overview

CORE PRO series CAT6 cables have been tested to 550MHz, the highest possible for a CAT6 cable to ensure lightning speeds. Each cable is performance optimized with 4 balanced twisted pairs with each pair separated by a centre nylon spline. This minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) in the transmission compared to CAT5e and also improves Equal-Level Far-End Crosstalk (ELFEXT), Return Loss (RL) and Insertion Loss (IL). This results in less system noise, fewer errors and higher data transmission rates.

Suitable for 1Gbps to 5Gbps up to 100m / 328feet and 10Gbps up to 55m / 180feet. 

Fire Rating

Important where smoke emissions and toxic fumes could pose a risk to human life and sensitive equipment, there are various grades for a cable's fire performance. CORE Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) cables are manufactured to pass CPR (Construction Products Regulation) Class Dca whilst other cable manufacturers may only pass Eca. An Eca test is a basic test that only measures vertical flame spread. In addition to this test, Dca has a requirement to test for toxic fumes (acid gas), smoke and flaming droplets, making the CORE LSZH jacket superior.

• The cable is coiled using CORE's proprietary winding technology and packaged in our Easy-Pull® box to ensure a tangle-free and twist-free cable pull.
• The large payout tube allows a fast, smooth and snag-free cable pull.
• The heavy-duty, double-walled and water-resistant coated cardboard box provides superior protection to the cable inside whilst making it rigid and durable in transit. Furthermore, the reinforced handles mean no more ripped handles when picking up the box.
